Target Audience Interviews

We were asked to interview our demographic target audience to divulge some information on the openings of spy films. We found that action packed openings were the favourite. Directors such as Hitchcock and 007 were very popular. We interviewed:

• Mr Benzie
• Miss Peacock
• Mr Johnson
• Mrs Newton-Heath
• Mr Healy

Miss Peacock Said that she enjoyed the film 39 steps. She also pointed out that a mystery themed film opening would be most enjoyable to watch she also said that she particularly enjoyed a film opening that was action packed. Miss Peacock is outside of our target audience. we thought this to be useful as we want to our film opening to appeal outside our target demographic.

Mr Benzie pointed out that to have a good film opening we would have to create enigma and we thought that we could create an atmosphere for the audience that would create an enigma. However Mr Benzie said that a good spy film would be better with a slow paced opening. It would appear that he likes a detective themed opening and we are going to try and include some detective aspects in our film opening.
